Flames, cranes ‘n’ planes
Think web developers spend all day in darkened rooms staring at computer screens? Think again!
Recently the BozBoz team have been involved in several exciting activities, including carrying the Olympic torch, piloting a light aircraft and bungee jumping at Brighton Marina.
The week started with graphic designer Julia carrying the Olympic torch through Lancing on its way to Hove. Account Director Peter is training to become a qualified aeroplane pilot, and this week completed his first solo flight in a light aircraft. “I logged a 25 minute solo flight around Shoreham aerodrome on Saturday, in a Cessna 152 single-engine aircraft operated by Sussex Flying Club” Peter explains. “After weeks of waiting for the right weather conditions, the sun finally came out and my instructor got out of the plane, leaving me a map to Goodwood and some last minute instructions which I couldn’t hear over the sound of my heart racing!”
Joining Peter in the skies, Project Developer Sam and Senior SEO Analyst Krystian both took a leap from a platform 160ft up, bungee jumping at Brighton Marina with Extreme Element.
When they got their breath back, Sam told us that it was the craziest extreme activity he has ever partaken in, adding that now he’s got bungee jumping under his belt he’d like to “upgrade to a skydive sometime soon”.
Krystian enjoyed the experience too despite some ‘slight’ last minute nerves, but declared it a ‘walk in the park’ compared to a normal day in the Bozboz office.
