Job Description:
We are looking for 2 developers to join us on a permanent basis, to help look after our existing clients, supporting & developing our bespoke CMS and Ecommerce products. A thorough understanding of PHP and LAMP technologies is essential and you must not be afraid of HTML and JavaScript either. You won't have to deal with clients or be a designer but you must have a passion for creating engaging, useable websites to inspire users and meet business goals. You must be a good communicator and be able to liaise with account and project managers who will not always be as technical as you are.
Skills Range:
Essential
- Thorough experience of Linux, PHP5, OOP, MySQL and MVC design patterns
- Excellent understanding of web standards HTML(5)/CSS
- Knowledge of jQuery
- Good communication skills
Desirable
- Knowledge of version control (Git or subversion)
- The ability to offer technical expertise and direction into proposals & presentations
- Interest in social media and web technologies
