Elite Promo

Elite Promo is a unique service for record labels and DJs. Record labels upload their pre-release tracks, and DJs pay a subscription to download them and use them in their sets. The labels get feedback they can use in their promotional materials plus valuable pre-release club buzz, and the DJs stay ahead of the curve.

The Brief

We were asked to build a bespoke site from the ground up, including all design elements. The CMS had to categorise tracks by label, artist and genre; and the site required a custom mp3 player that incorporated digital watermarking.

The Result

The complex CMS allows admin approved user registration with different access granted to labels and DJs, and a credit system to determine how many tracks can be downloaded. Labels can now get valuable feedback and pre-release exposure, and DJs can play tracks no one has heard yet.
