MAR Software provide software solutions to pharmacies and care homes, designed to add much needed fail-safes into the process of giving medication.

The Brief

Bozboz we're commissioned to created an integrated system, to improve the process and reliability of drug dispensation in the care home industry. The aim was to reduce the chance of human error, by improving labelling and better matching patient and prescription information. 

The Result

The MARSoft database links the pharmacy's prescriptions records with the patient's medical records and the TICTAC national drug database to produce clear instructions for each patient's medication. Colour PDFs provide visual recognition of both the patient and the drug. Our software significantly reduces the possiblility of medication being administered incorrectly and is currently in use looking after thousands of patients across the UK
