Slackers Convention Brighton

The Slackers Convention are a group of DJs who run a club night in Brighton. They needed a new website design which could show off their musical talents as well as keeping their slack buddies entertained with photos and information about them and their upcoming events.

The Brief

We developed them a website in Flash, allowing streaming mp3s to run continuously without any breaks and pauses when you load new pages. Using Flash galleries also allows users to view the great artwork and images of their nights. We worked with Dirtpop, one of Brighton's finest graphic designers on the concept of this site, to give it the distinctive Slackers look and feel.

The Result

Building this site in Flash Actionscript and PHP has allowed us to create a fast-paced website which delivers rich media content in a way that is interactive and could not be achieved easily using pure HTML.
