Concorde 2

Concorde 2 is a stylish Victorian building situated in Brighton. Built in the 1800s, it has gone through several guises before being refurbished in 2000. It was the site of The White Stripes’ first ever UK show and Green Day’s album launch in association with Radio 1. As well as gigs, the venue is home to many Brighton club nights such as Super Dub Pressure. With a state-of-the-art sound system, Concorde 2 continues to be a venue that plays an important part in the tour schedules of many globally renowned artists and DJs.

The Brief

Concorde 2 needed a website where people could easily see what events were happening, find out more about the bands and artists playing and purchase tickets online. They wanted a minimal yet stylish design to mirror the venue’s identity and Victorian architecture.

The site needed to be easily navigable. People with a clear idea of what event they wanted to attend should be able to buy tickets with ease. The site needed to cater to people who were just browsing for a gig or club night to go out to. The incorporation of an events search function would give people the ability to look up forthcoming events by genre. This means that anyone looking for an event or nightclub in Brighton can find what they want easily.
