Neon Collective is an online business, operating in the highly competitive fashion market. As their entire business is based on the web finding the right company to design and develop their business ecommerce site was of critical importance.
Neon were looking for a web company in Brighton who could design them a stylish website to show off their ethically sourced products from around the world. It was important that the website was sleek and snappy, as the owners wished to market the shoes on their own merits to a mainstream market. They did not want to appeal to the ‘guilt factor’ or hippy / green credentials often used as a sales technique in the vegetarian fashion market.
Our design brief involved looking closely at popular womens online stores such as Asos and Topshop as a barometer of style.
Functionality was also important as Neon Collective needed to be able to manage all aspects of their business through the website. Being able to update the website was of key importance, our ecommerce system allows them to fully manage products, stock levels, customers and orders.
We integrated a sophisticated e-mail marketing system into the website, allowing Neon to keep in touch with customer, keeping them informed of offers and promotions. We optimised their web store heavily to ensure best search engine indexing potential and implemented an online marketing campaign. For this client we run an ongoing keyword research and competitor analysis programme, updating the keyword choices once niche terms achieve high positioning in the organic results.
