1. Code Optimisation

Your sites code must be optimised so that it can be well spidered and catalogued by search engines. This is done by a variety of methods, including

  • Compliance -Making HTML code compliant to W3C guidelines, the governing body for internet specifications
  • Reformatting the copy of your website, using correct HTML tags and ordering
  • Keyword density It is important that your text contains keywords, in the correct parts of your documents to help search engines recognise what your page is about and help people find it when they are searching

2. Link Building

Just having good keywords and a well coded site is not enough. You need to make sure that search engines see that your site is important, which means generating links into your site from other websites, especially ones which are of a similar category.

The links generated must be from credible sources, and relevant sources to be effective. Generating links in the wrong places can actually harm your sites ranking. It is also a good idea to build up recipricol links - link swaps with other relevant sites that are not your competitors.

Ensure browser compliance - all your sites code is checked and validated according to the strictest level of  w3c guidelines.

We will also maximize the internal links in your site to ensure all your pages will  be spidered by search engines to maximum efficiency

 

Competitor analysis

We will analyse the best performing competitors in your field to ascertain the keywords they are using and the density at which these keywords appear in their sites. Obtaining good keyword density is of high importance, and the density used varies in different markets.

 

Trace Backlinks

We will also analyse your main competitors to find out who links to them. Often sites that link to your competitors will link to you, and getting your links placed in these places will help greatly to improve your visibility


 

Stage 2 – Linkbuilding , Pr and monitoring traffic

Ethical Linking. We will constructively build links to you with relevant companies. If you are a shoe shop we won’t link you with casinos or put you in directories with unrelated websites as this can actually harm your ranking.

We will take the keywords from our research and use these to generate contextual links to your site in relevant places. This helps search engines to know what your site is about. We use only ethical methods of search optimization, do not risk getting you black listed from search engines. 

Solid Progress Some companies may offer quick fix schemes, but these may run the risk of your site getting black listed, and often as soon as you stop paying the premium all the links to your site will disappear, along with your ranking. The methods of link building we use create permanent relevant links into your site, which will stay regardless of whether you continue in the long term with us or decide to start managing things yourself later. By using us you will be laying a solid foundation and then building on it rather than using some other quick fix scheme

Adwords / Pay per click. If it is generating potential customers to your site that is important then using pay per click search methods can be a very useful supplement. This is especially true with a fledgling site which will not rank well in many search engines for at least 6 months for competitive terms, due to the sandbox effect.

 

Analytics reporting. Everything we do will be transparent, and we will provide you with access to breakdowns of traffic to your site, which will tell you exactly how many hits you are getting, and where they are coming from. We monitor and use this data constantly in order to target and tailor the best keywords that are driving hits to your site, and to see if any paid advertising you are using is being effective
