9 May 2017

Take a walk on the mild side this May and experience Mau Mau’s much-anticipated solo extravaganza and Brighton debut, The Mildlife Show.

This immersive mixed media exhibition features limited edition paintings and sculptures based around a series of animated shorts, shown in a luxury beach hut cinema.

Off the back of sell-out tours in Tokyo and London, these iconic artworks and animations juxtapose a host of Animal Farm-inspired characters with soundbites from world news, speaking volumes about social, political and celebrity culture.

See Donald Trump, Boris Johnson and Kanye as you’ve never seen them before, alongside Mau Mau’s iconic Fox and a host of Animal Farm inspired characters.

Mau Mau has been active in the Street Art movement for the past 20 years, collaborating with names as diverse as Dizzee Rascal, Surfers Against Sewage and Greenpeace in his signature satirical style.

His bold art and philosophy are motivated by a passionate belief in justice and unity in the face of corporate giants and governments.

Prepare to be challenged, entertained and affirmed in equal measure by an internationally revered artist who doesn’t pull his punches.
